"Yoga is a Divine gift and the opportunity to practice it is a blessing."
-- David Swenson
Guided Meditation and Relaxation
Feel refreshed and renewed after soothing your mind, body and spirit through imagery, visualization and breathing techniques in a supported relaxation pose.
Pure Classical Pilates (Mat)
Sculpt, tone and most importantly, strengthen your “core” as well as working the legs, arms and back muscles with moves taught in the traditional Pilates method. These specific moves and sequences will firm up and strengthen all key stomach and abdominal muscles for better posture, a sleeker waistline and improved overall health. As Joseph Pilates said, “These exercises are for THE BODY.” You’ll look and feel great!
Basic Yoga
Begin your introduction to yoga with the focus centered on basic postures, breathing techniques and alignment. This class is perfect for the beginning or "exploratory" yoga student, as well as anyone who is looking to refresh their practice and re-explore the foundations of yoga. No advanced postures will be undertaken in this class and no prior yoga experience required.
Vinyasa Flow Yoga
This fluid movement class consists of traditional yoga postures performed in a flowing form to create a sequence with one posture transitioning into the next, creating a graceful, unique “dance” of yoga.
Ashtanga-Inspired Yoga
Sometimes refered to as "Power Yoga," this class follows moves in the Ashtanga Method but incorporates Vinyasa flow and sequences.
Step-by-Step Sun Salutations
This class focuses solely on introducing the student to Sun Salutations, the cornerstone of most Asana practices. You will be acquainted with the basic moves, specifically the breakdown of Vinyasa (the flowing moves in the Salutations). This class is a great beginner or review sequence but also a wonderful class on its own!
7-Breath Posture Yoga
This non-flow class begins each move from a traditional standing position (Mountain Pose), melting into each pose slowly and holding while we explore each posture for seven breaths. This class is a great way to feel each pose and sharpen our focus! Perfect for beginners but also a nice change from Vinyasa classes.
One Breath At A Time/One Move at a Time Yoga
This slower paced class, while perfect for beginners, is not only for those new to Yoga. This is an alignment-based class focusing on proper form for each asana before moving on to the next. A great way to turn inward and savor the feelings of each pose.
Core Vinyasa (Yoga Abs)
Ready to get fit but don’t have time for TWO classes? This class blends both regular Yoga and key movements from Pilates to give you a Yoga PLUS core workout in one flow (Vinyasa) class. Strengthen your abdominal muscles as well as stretching and toning all the key areas of the body. It’s twice the workout in one!
Pilates/Yoga Fusion
This fun, diverse class offers the best of both Pure Classical Pilates Mat and Basic Yoga but incorporates props such as bands, weights, weighted balls and the Pilates Magic Circle to make every class different, exciting, challenging and limitless in possibilities! I guarantee you will never be bored and will always find a fresh way to experience class!
