Always wanted to try Pilates but thought it too hard or you couldn’t “do” it? This workshop will slowly examine each of the basic moves, how to perform them safely and effectively, along with modifications and variations for every body type. Discussion will also include an explanation as to WHY the move is important and the effect it will have on the body.
We will also take some time to talk about Joseph Pilates, the founder of Pilates, how he came to design his method and how it revolutionized and changed fitness forever!
After our discussion, we’ll share a short practice incorporating what we’ve discussed!
