About Dina.....
Prior to becoming involved with Yoga and Pilates, I worked in the business world as an administrative assistant for almost 26 years.

While I enjoyed it, I always longed to do something that was meaningful and helpful to others.  When I discovered Yoga and Pilates, I quickly saw that becoming an instructor would be the best way to realize my goal of loving what I do and experiencing its benefit personally and for others.

I have been practicing both for over six years and after successfully completing the required training and study, received my Yoga certification through the ReGeneration Institute of Yoga in South Plainfield, NJ.  Additionally, I am also certified to teach Pure Classical Pilates Method, through The ReGeneration Institute of Pilates (affiliated with PAI - Pilates Academy International)  in South Plainfield, NJ  (http://www.experienceregeneration.com/) and am proud to be listed as an Experience ReGeneration Pilates Instructor.  I am registered with Yoga Alliance (http://www.yogalliance.org) and CPR/First Aid Certified by the American Red Cross.

In addition to appointments out of my home studio and clients' homes, I
am delighted to now be leading classes at the new and beautiful Sakula Yoga Studio in Metuchen!!  Join me for Mixed Level Yoga on Monday and Friday afternoons, Gentle Chair Yoga on Tuesday evenings and now -- Classical Pilates on Sundays! (www.SakulaYoga.com)

I also lead classes at The Club @ Woodbridge (Woodbridge, NJ),  the Westfield YMCA,  and the JCC of Scotch Plains as well as at various local studios.

Please ask me about corporate Yoga/Pilates sessions workshops at your office or place of business!

My teaching style is mainly Vinyasa Yoga and Pure Classical Pilates Method, but I tailor my classes and private sessions to each individual’s needs, goals and interests to bring them the most satisfying and rewarding class I can offer – one that will keep them interested in their practice and allow them to grow with it.

I believe that everyone can practice and benefit from Yoga and Pilates, and to that end I also volunteer my time leading a weekly Yoga therapy program to patients suffering mild to moderate  brain injury at JFK/Hartwyck @ Oak Tree in Edison.  I have also led  a Wheelchair Yoga program for residents at The Highlands (a Care-One facility in Edison).

Animal rights and kind treatment of them is another cause I hold dear.   I am constantly trying to help give a voice to animals that cannot speak for themselves, especially homeless and shelter pets.  This effort has resulted in Happy Tails Yoga:  an organization I've coordinated with two other yoga instructors that unites yoga teachers and students to benefit and stop animal cruelty and neglect (www.happytailsyoga.org).

My main goal is to share my love of Yoga and Pilates with others and help them realize their optimal mental, physical and spiritual health potential.  Another wish is to teach therapeutic Yoga to individuals with mental, physical or learning disabilities or illness to provide comfort and relief by experiencing the soothing and healing benefits of both these wonderful programs.
